The DALI Lighting Awards are one of the most influential annual recognitions in the lighting industry. This year, the DALI Alliance's expert team took several months to rigorously evaluate innovative projects from around the globe, with only 12 exceptional projects earning awards. Sunricher’s Zhongguancun International Innovation Center project stood out alongside global industry leaders such as Signify, Tridonic, and Philips Dynalite, receiving accolades in both the Innovation in Lighting and Best Human Centric Design categories.

This marks Sunricher’s second win at the DALI Lighting Awards, following our success in 2022, where we won the highest honor in the residential category (the only winner). This recognition once again highlights Sunricher's continued commitment to cutting-edge technology and innovative lighting solutions.

The Zhongguancun International Innovation Center, which was first launched in 2024, was carefully designed by the renowned architect Ma Yansong and his MAD Architects (“MAD”). With a total construction area of 64,000 square meters and a building height of 12 meters, the center consists of three floors and 16 main spaces, including the main hall and banquet hall, with a capacity to accommodate 5,600 people. Featuring a unique cloverleaf design, it incorporates elements of Haidian's Three Mountains and Five Gardens. Sunricher, in collaboration with MAD, illuminates "China's Silicon Valley, the World’s Zhongguancun" with smart lighting!

Ultra-strong Compatibility, No Address Loss

The Zhongguancun International Innovation Center adopts a large number of cutting-edge intelligent control technologies, which are particularly important for its integration.

Sunricher's DALI products have undergone rigorous testing and fully comply with the "IEC 62384 standard." They are the first products globally to pass UL Solutions' DALI product durability test without losing their addresses. These products are not only perfectly compatible with mainstream intelligent lighting control systems but also compatible with various types of lighting fixtures, allowing customers to flexibly choose lighting equipment without worrying about compatibility issues.

Moreover, they will not lose or change addresses after long-term use or system modifications, ensuring more stable and reliable operation, effectively reducing future maintenance costs, and creating a stable, efficient, and sustainable smart lighting environment for the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center.

Artistic Light and Shadow, Ultimate Control

At the beginning of the design, MAD aimed to create a minimalist and pure indoor atmosphere that would support the vitality and energy sparked by the exchange of innovative ideas.

In the interior hall, a creative integration of continuous light strips was introduced, gracefully following the lines of the building's structure. These light strips, together with the large ETEF membrane skylights, form a space installation art piece that is both technologically advanced and visually captivating.

The integration of Sunricher DALI NFC smart driver technology further elevates the control of light and shadow to its extreme. Not only does it achieve ultra-deep dimming with a precision of one in ten thousand, with a smooth and delicate dimming process, but it also allows for color temperature control. This means that the smart lighting can adjust brightness according to ambient light and change light colors based on different activities and needs, providing the most suitable lighting effect for each scenario.

Multi-mode Presets, Green Energy-saving

The functional spaces of the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center are designed in a "品"  (pin) shape layout, creating a multi-functional environment that includes the main hall, banquet hall, multifunctional hall on the first floor, and a series of small meeting rooms, VIP lounges, etc., on the underground floor.

Sunricher DALI smart lighting solutions support flexible and precise control methods such as individual lamp control, grouping, zoning, scene-based control, scheduling, and remote control. Various lighting scenarios can be preset according to the specific needs of the space, such as entry mode, meeting mode, leisure mode, departure mode, cleaning mode, etc. Additionally, it supports motion sensing to achieve the "light on when people arrive, light off when people leave" lighting mode. This ensures lighting requirements for meetings of various scales and levels of privacy, while also achieving secondary energy savings, in line with the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center's commitment to green and sustainable development.

High Quality Source, Eye Protection for Health

As a platform for technological innovation and communication, Zhongguancun International Innovation Center hosts numerous tech events, where ultra-high-definition equipment is frequently used for filming.

Sunricher DALI smart drivers have been tested to fully meet the requirements of the internationally recognized TÜV SÜD standards in terms of dimming performance, flicker control, and visual health. The dimming process is completely flicker-free, ensuring no ripple effects whether audiences are filming with their mobile phones or professional TV recording is taking place. This also effectively prevents issues such as headaches, eye fatigue, photosensitive retinal changes, and vision decline caused by flicker, providing a healthy and safe lighting environment for viewers.
