Innovation is the original power which stimulates Sunricher's development and Sunricher has always been paying much attention to innovation. As a leading global intelligent lighting controller supplier, Sunricher puts an annual R&D investment commitment of over 7% of turnover, with over 20 senior engineers in its Shenzhen and Hongkong two R&D centers actively participating in innovation projects.

Sunricher owns over 50 granted patents and much more pending patent applications worldwide, covering most of our product portfolios, with around 3 new inventions being protected each year.

We never stop the process of identifying smart solutions which deliver the extreme performance that our customers seek.

Research and Development

Sunricher is famous for its strong research capability which ensures that they can develop and deliver innovative intelligent lighting control solutions to customers. We target solutions where new or improved intelligent lighting controllers will add value to our customers by opening up new markets, delivering enhanced performance in applications or increasing efficiency. To do this, Sunricher can draw on extensive research and development capabilities developed over years of innovation in intelligent lighting control. Sunricher research and development started with the establishment of two research and development facilities in Shenzhen and HongKong in 2008, which have played very important role in Sunricher's innovation system.

Intellectual Property

Sunricher strongly protects its new intelligent lighting control solutions that will deliver value for our customers.

The innovative lighting control solutions delivered by Sunricher research and development are robustly protected by intellectual property rights, particularly patents. We believe that our customers’ interests are best served by enforcement of our IP rights and entering into favorable license arrangements where appropriate.

Sunricher has a dedicated in-house IP team that works closely with the various R&D and commercial teams to protect new intelligent lighting solutions that will deliver value for our customers.
